E. lucifuga and P. glutinosus temps

To those holding experience with these species, how low will you go in regards to temperature? They've been held around 65-70F throughout the summer and most of fall, but I've got the temps hovering around 50F now (water temp around the same). I'm hoping to see some breeding activity, but I'm just curious if I'm going low enough?

I've taken them to 38F without a problem.
