I had a nifty idea when remodeling my tank. I took a fluval one plus filter (the smallest one) replaced the sponge with a small bag of activated carbon (since the little filter only comes with a sponge in it) and then i bought 2 feet of 1/2inch inner diameter vinyl tubing and ran the outflow from the filter along the back of the tank, and up to a piece of mopani wood that touches a big flat rock. the wood hides the tube and the water runs down the bottom of the wood and off of the flat rock.
