Is it normal for axies to munch on aquarium plants. My wild type frequently nibbles at one particular plant [that I cannot remember the name of right now]. She is in great health and is my best eater. Is she just greedy or is there more to this? She eats earthworms so I don't think she is lacking important nutrients that would cause cravings... I'm more worried about whether or not it is safe for her to eat it. This is the plant:

This is the same axie that behaved weirdly with that same plant isn't it? maybe she just wasn't big enough to fit it in her mouth back then ;) but that is strange I hope someone has an answer for you..

Not to be rude or second guess you but are you sure she's really eating it? She's not just like snapping at it? like are you seeing her bite at it and pieces actually breaking off and disappearing? I ask because on one hand I see my two geniuses bite at nothing a lot (while both them and me think it's a shrimp, 9/10 times it's not.) maybe the way the plant moves with the current makes her think it's a snack (a green bloodworm maybe? can they really see colors?)? and on the other hand I actually watched one of mine bite a chunk out of his own tail...good luck!
