Is there anyone living in Edinburgh that can look after my three cynops orintalis for 10 days whilst I am on holiday?? I am offering £20 to do so..

I am away July 6th -16th and can bring them to you/ supply frozen food etc...

if there is anyone who can help - or suggest anything else please email me carlyjanebarrett@yahoo.co.uk i'd be most grateful

I have contacted two aquatic stores in Edi - one doesn't do boardings and the other is quoting a lot of money..

aaah if i was in Edinburgh I would have done so for you :( sorry. Dundee is too far from edinburgh to travel too tho :(

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
