Question: Effect of a glass tank on regrowing limbs?

I was just curious, would having a glass bottomed tank affect which direction a regrowing limb would face? My beautiful little Sarge, she's regrowing her legs and finally has a full hand! Except it's growing backwards. I also noticed that her sister Eclipse is healing her front leg after Sarge's feeding frenzy; well it's also growing backwards. Is this normal?

I'm wondering if maybe the limbs are in normal orientation, but just look backwards at this stage in development. Do you have any photos?
