My 6 month old axies had laid there first batch of eggs and I was looking for a some sort of guideline to follow. Should i keep the eggs in the tank the axies are in or should I transfer them.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

sorry I posted in the wrong section

If your axolotls are only 6 months old they are not really old enough to be breeding - just because they can doesn't mean that they should.

If you're wanting to raise healthy stock I personally would not raise the eggs from animals so young - I'd leave them to be eaten by the axolotls. Wait until the adults are fully mature - otherwise you cannot guarantee the quality of a first batch of eggs.

Perhaps think about separating your male & female so they can concentrate on becoming the biggest healthy adults they can be :)

I agree with Nikki. Had a batch once from very young adults. But tried to raise them. It was one of the worst batched I've had in my life. There weren't as many eggs as you can find in more adult axie batches (or however you call that in pwoper Engrish).
