Ensatina eggs

I had an E.e.conceater lay eggs outside her hidespot the other night. She looked as though she was guarding them from the entrance, but I still didn't think that they would survive like that. I moved her hidespot (~2in) over the eggs and placed her back in it. Lost cause?

Maybe...I've been able to hatch out abandoned Plethodontid egg clutches before with resonable success. If she doesn't start guarding them again, go ahead and remove the eggs or she might eventually eat them.

It's cool to see someone has bred Ensatina. You should post some species records for www.caudata.org/~uscr

I checked last night and she was guarding the eggs. I'm stoked!
