Excited about getting a new perfect tank!

I was looking around for a nice cheap tank to set up as a breeding tank, was looking for a 3ft one, and then It found it!! Its gorgeous and its bigger than usual, it holds 200 litres {same as my 4ft tank} and its really cute, I think its slightly bow front, it has a lid and light {not that ill be using it} and comes with a heater {yet again not needed but good bonus} and filter and stand all for $60 :D Its perfect and I cant wait to pick it up! :D It will make a great breeding tank/new tank :crazy:

    with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
