Hello everyone, my name is Tandy I am from Washington, USA. I am 25 years old, a stay at home mom, I am married and we have a two year old daughter. I bought my first Salamander yesterday and I am here to learn as much about her and other species as I can. My husband, Aaron, has made a hobby of raising tarantulas and I have been looking for an animal that I could enjoy as much as he loves his eight legged babies. LOL! The Tiger Salamander is what finally caught my attention. She is currently 8 1/2 inches long and the breeder told me that she just morphed a few months ago. I am very excited to have her and if all goes well with her I am anxious to invite more newts or salamanders into our home. Currently we also have a Chahuaha/Schnouzer dog, Bella, a Lionhead bunny, Luna, about 40 tarantulas, and about 11fish. We love to share our interests with our daughter Acacia. We try to teach her as much as we know about critters and animals as a two year old can understand. So far I havent found an animal that she hasnt loved! :wacko:
