I was just wandering if anybody out there has ever been bitten by their pacman frog and if so, did it hurt, did you bleed, did the frog let go soon or did you have to wait for a while? anything like this.

All replies appreciated :D

Afortunately my pacman has never bitten me :D

I have been bitten by numerous horned (pacman) frogs. Once they figure out they can't swallow you they gerally let go. I did bleed once after getting tag by a large female Suriname Horned Frog. The frogs with the worst bite are Budgett's Frogs. Mark

Pacman frogs will try and eat pretty much anything, they give up when they realise they cant. Bites arent really painfull, more like a gummy toddler knawing on your hand!

The worst injury I've had from one was having a piercing on my forearm ripped and it wasnt that bad. They rarely break skin.

Large pacman frogs can do some slight damage, I've been bitten in the past quite a few times but they only broke skin a handful of times.

If bites are a worry to you then stick with Pacmen and don't get a pyxie (not that you are intending to but people often get both). A 4 inch pyxie can give you a very deep and painful wound that you won't forget for several days. An adult can really injure you.
