So there's no problem here but just curious for those of you with multiple salamanders in the same enclosure... What's their behavior usually like with one another? Do they tend to just keep to themselves or do you notice any play/interactions with each other?

I have two blue spotted salamanders, approximately the same age (juveniles, about 1 year old), and they are almost always together cuddled up. It's adorable! I know they are mostly solitary creatures but I couldn't imagine splitting these two up into different enclosures. So just wondering if this is actually uncommon or if overall these guys are more communal and social than the online literature suggests.

I don't really consider them communal. I could be wrong about this.
The reason small salamanders in captivity often hide together like that is because they both want the choicest spots. My blue spots do this as well.
In the wild, it's not uncommon to find two or more individuals under the same cover, but I don't recall having found them on top of each other like that. I think finding them in groups is more a function of population density, along with choice of prime cover, than anything else.
