Filming amphibians

Hi.

Over the summer, I'm going to try and film a nature documentary on Connecticut animals during the summer months. Does anyone have any advice on when to find amphibians when they out and active, particuarly lungless salamanders and and aquatic newts?

P.S. I have the resources to film under water and at night if need be.
