Filter Current and other lotl quirks

Just curious, does anyone have any axolotls that enjoy filter current/bubbles? I know lotls are supposed to hate them, but my babies rarely leave their spot from the filter current... It's normal for them, so I'm not asking out of concern. Any other weird (but normal) lotl behaviors to report?

Mine sometimes position themselves in the bubbles from a sponge filter and I have some juvies that go up and cling to a half-submerged spray-bar. Guess they didn't read the memo. :happy:

My axolotl got freaked out the about the filter current (had to baffle it with a sponge) but she sits on the airstone and lets the bubbles flap her gills around all the time. They are such goofy critters.

I have an internal filer with the nozzle spitting the water down the side of the tank. My axie loves to sit on top of the filter and put his/hers hand in the flow or sometimes he/she spends the night up there.

Some of mine sit in the air bubbles occasionally. I bet it feels nice on their gills.
