Hello! I've bought a hang on filter for my tank.. it says it's suitable for aquariums up to 120L my tank is 90L.. is that over kill? This is to replace my cheap filter. My tank is fully cycled.
Thanks
I don't think it's Overkill at all. In fact I keep axolotls and I use canister filters that are rated for at least a double the amount of water I have. I do this because I have to have a low flow rate but be able to clean up a high amount of waste, so I just add holes to my spray bars.
Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation
Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
