Hi,
I have 3 FBT in the tank and the 1 I'm questioning is always hiding in 2 spots, he does eat but only when I catch him out of the holes very briefly.

He used to eat anything we put in front of him and would even cross the tank to get it.

I'm really stuck what to do?
I've only had them around 3 weeks now.
They are around 1 years old.

The water is fine, feeders are being in calcium.

Shall I fill in the hole or is he just natural shy?

My other 1 is really active and constantly climbing and the other loves the water.

Thanks

It could be that he reacts to the winter season. A drop in night temperature and less light during the day can result in a toad showing signs of brumation. Don't catch him out of the hole in any case, but keep on monitoring him. It wil definitely cause stress if you do.

Thank you, well it's a constant temperature all the time.
The only difference I've made is turning down the light intensity because I didn't realise that it was meant to be dim

What light intensity would you recommend?

If it has plenty of hiding spots and land area toss some isopods and small crickets in there and forget about it. It will find food and eat.
