Question: Fire Salamander and Nightcrawler

Has anyone had luck feeding Canadian nightcrawlers to adult fire salamanders? None of mine seem interested, not sure if cutting in half would help? I am adding isopods to their diet this week so hoping that will give them something else to eat. So far they've only taken roaches and crickets.

It's sometimes easier to tempt reluctant salamanders with whole small nightcrawlers rather than large ones cut up. I don't know why, but once they are taking the small ones they can often be moved on to chopped ones without any problems.
