Fire Salamander Larvae (bloated)

Some of my Fire Salamander larvae are suffering from a condition that is making them fill up with air and they are floating at the surface rather than being under the water as the others are.
The first four that had these symptoms have died today and there are a few others that are starting to 'swell up'
Anybody got any ideas on the cause and any possible treatment

I'm not sure about causes, but for treatment, assuming its not a disease, place the larvae in ver shallow water - only as deep as the larvae, so that eben when floating it has contact with the floor. Put tons of food in, and eventually the larvae will pass the bubble.
