I have had 2 baby fire salamanders for about 1 month now. They were about 1.5 inches long maybe 2, when I got them. Now one has grown much more, is more active and readily accepts crickets from tongs. The other is still the same size, sluggish and refuses to eat. I have tried several different foods, I think the only one he will eat is fruit flies, even though I've never seen him eat one. I am getting worried, today I moved the bigger one to a different container. Hopefully this helps. But i'm out of ideas. I was hoping someone here could give tips.

Just a thought, but what did the seller advise?

Since I moved the big one, the little has been eating. Not from the tongs, I think he's just a bit shy, but the crickets are disappearing.
