Firebelly newts

I have just recently watched one of my newts put a sperm-thing on the ground. I have a female. how ca i encourage her to lay her eggs

I don't know of any way to encourage her except to just let nature take its course. Of course, don't disturb them, don't handle them, and keep them well fed. Provide some live plants maybe. Not much else you can do.
