First three open newt tanks

Still five to go, but the first three open tanks are running a couple of weeks now and doing well. Made the backgrounds myself. This time the pumps are behind the backgrounds instead of hidden in the substrate. Apart from that I used this method:

Posted a vid of the last tank before when the adults were in it. Plants have grown a lot. First tank is filled with left over plants from other tanks. They will grow in time of course. All tanks have got some pond substrate beneath the river sand btw.

Got the lights with the nano cubes I bought a while ago. They were on offer then. The plants do well with these lights. It's some kind of TL or PL light. Have to find me some more of these, because I only got three of them.
