Fish that walks like a salamander

They have found a fish that has a pelvis and gait that resembles salamanders. There are other fish that can move on land, like mudskippers, but this is the first that has been documented to move the same way a salamander does. See link for nice video.

That's amazing! Almost a living missing link.

We'll have to check back in a couple of million years to see if a new species emerges. Perhaps if we prove our hubris exceeds our resilience, descendents of the cavefish will live and thrive on a post-human Earth.
