Abstract [FONT=Times New Roman,Times][FONT=Times New Roman,Times]We describe five new species of lungless salamanders (Plethodontidae) from high mountain habitats along the border between Costa Rica and Panama: [/FONT][/FONT][FONT=Times New Roman,Times][FONT=Times New Roman,Times]Bolitoglossa splendida[/FONT][/FONT][FONT=Times New Roman,Times][FONT=Times New Roman,Times], [/FONT][/FONT][FONT=Times New Roman,Times][FONT=Times New Roman,Times]Bolitoglossa aureogularis, Bolitoglossa kamuk[/FONT][/FONT][FONT=Times New Roman,Times][FONT=Times New Roman,Times], [/FONT][/FONT][FONT=Times New Roman,Times][FONT=Times New Roman,Times]Nototriton matama[/FONT][/FONT][FONT=Times New Roman,Times][FONT=Times New Roman,Times], and [/FONT][/FONT][FONT=Times New Roman,Times][FONT=Times New Roman,Times]Oedipina nimaso.
