Freckle transformation due to black substrate (?) !!

I've read that black substrate will make freckled axie's freckles appear more frequently/darker.
But who knows, this could have just been their freckles popping out naturally as they grew.
Anyways, I think it's super cool how freckled they got since I got them at the end of August. More seem to appear every day!

They do change color somewhat as they age, over time, as they grow.
