Ive found out ive got 100s of these with my paramesotritons, theyre only about 1-3mm long at the moment, but are grpowing. Im not exactly sure where they came from, ive not seen a feshwater limpet for years before these. Are there any problems with them living with my newts?

thanks

No problem at all. In fact, they'll help keep the algae under control. I have had them too. Like any scavenger, they do best in a dirty tank, so make sure you are keeping the gravel clean and the water changes done regularly.

For those who are wondering, limpets are like tiny snails, but with a simpler, almost flat shell. They look like little white crusty things in the tank.
