Hey everyone,
I made a post last week about my axolotl shedding his slime coat and turning red/swollen. I took AMurry24537's advice and put him in the fridge in some spring water; thankfully, he has returned to a normal color and is no longer peeling - though he still has some spots on his head. Today, however, I was offering him some bloodworms before his water change (since he is moving around more and was interested in food the other day) and noticed that he was bleeding from his side. He has red spots behind each arm, as well. There is nothing in his hospital tank for him to injure himself on and I am 99% sure I didn't accidentally bump him.
How can I stop the bleeding? Does anyone know what might be causing it + the red patches behind his arms?
Would a tea bath help? If so, how do I perform one?
I've attached pictures of him looking healthier two days ago + the bleeding and red spots today.
Thank you all again for your help <3
