Fungus groth on axolotls mouth

Hello I've continually had problems with my axolotl. He's been in the fridge for more then a week now and I have been doing daily salt baths for the past 5 days. Unfourtunatly I have not seen any progress in the fungus going away. I took some pictures hopefully you could answer some questions for me because the fungus seem to be growing everyday. Also I try to count the pieces of bloodworm that I feed him but I really can't not say forsure or not if he's eating, well I guess it would be pretty hard to eatwith fungus on ur mouth. Also I find he is pretty skinny. Thank you for your time.

Ouch he doesn't look good at all. What are you attempting to feed with? How strong are you doing the salt baths? are you using the guide on this forum?

Yes I did follow the page on this forum. I put 2 and ahalf tsp of salt to one litre of water and I used the exact some salt in the forum could I add more? I'm really worried. Thx

Oh ya I've just been putting the food in the container.. should I be holding it in front of his face?

Are you sure there's fungus on his mouth and not an infection?

Is it possible the fungus is secondary to a sore or mouth-rot? The shape of his belly/back end look a little strange. What was he eating before? What was your substrate?

It sort of looks as if he just 'stops'. He's most likely not going to eat non living food as he still looks rather small.

How big is he? Anything over 3 inches should be readily eating frozen or "dead" food, from my experience anyway. As Kaysie mentioned, his body shape is very odd and this concerns me. Has his abdomen always had that shape or just since you've had him? What substrate have you been keeping him on and do you know what substrate he was on before you brought him home? One of my girls was deathly thin when she came to me and her appearance was similar after she had eaten for the first couple of weeks, but it should subside after a couple of hours. Had he been rejecting food before you put him in the fridge? Colder temperatures cause their metabolism to slow down, making eating much less frequent.

Well iput 24 tiny pieces of boold worm in his container yesturday night and today there seems to be some gone..but I believe he might be dead he is no longer moving with he did a lot till now. He not floating or is he stiff. So I really dot know is there a forsure way of knowing? I'm very sad he's so cute and I love all my creatures. Thank you

well if you pick them up and you may have to provoke them a lot before they move.

Such a sorry situation It's usually quite obvious if they have in fact passed....if you disturb him and he's still a live I'd be surprised if he didn't start squirming to get away.
