I recently adopted an axolotl who is about three months old (2.5-3 inches). Currently he is tubbed with 100% water changes each day while his tank finishes cycling. pH is about 7.2 and temperature is 62-65 in the tub. Yesterday, I noticed he had a little white tuft on the top of one of his gills. It doesn't seem to have gotten worse today, is this a fungus or something else? Any help would be appreciated!

That is so minor that do water changes twice a day and you should be fine.

You can use meth blue or even add the minute salt dose of 1 teaspoon per 5 g of water
