G'day, I'm new in town...

Hey everyone, obviously I'm new around here. My gorgeous man owns a axolotl (or as I like to call it 'a fishie'...much to his dismay lol). He's been a member here for a while now and really loves it all (I'm starting to think he loves that 'fishie' more than he loves me lo!l). Anyway, I want to share in his hobby/passion for these most unusual creatures (especially if I'm to be living with them when we move in together ). I'm interested in learning more about them...I mean from what I've read so far (and from knowing the trouble my man goes to) there's a lot of care involved in owning axolotls and I truly admire you all. Me though, I'm a bird person :lame: lol!

Anyway, it's good to meet you all and be a part of your community. Thanks to my man for inviting me to join in. I look forward to getting know some of you.

Welcome to the forums. Wish I could get my partner interested in axies... nice that you are getting involved in your partner's hobby! He does check the temperature for me whilst I am at work though and puts ice bottles in when it gets hot so that is enough for the moment

Hehe he calls my axie 'how's the fish??' to annoy me also... Now he has taken to miming my (predictable) response 'AMPHIBIAN!' as I correct him.
