Hey guys.
Not been on here in a while.
So after a tricky break up a few month ago and not being able to take my axolotl with me i recently ggot the news it had died.
My current partner has just asked if we can get some fancy goldfish.. so im trying to cut a deal where she gets her gold fish and i get an axolotl.
Just wanted to refresh my memory on general care.
Id be looking to get a juvenile axie. Keeping in a large plastic tank for a while till i save for a proper aquarium.
Am i right in thinking i need the following to get going..
Tank
Filter (was looking at a hang on style one on amazon)
Suitable substrate and decoration
Dechlorinised or bottled spring water (i live opposite asda so thats no problem)
And obviously the axolotl.
Is there anything ive missed? Can someone mainly refresh me on tank cycling please.
P.s. fish would be in seperate tank.
