Does anyone have a reference or actual paper with the genetic distance within the genus Ambystoma please?

There are a number of them. It depends largely upon which species and species groups you are interested in. Scroll through the species list at CNAH and check the taxonomic contents for references. Some of those references will be in the CNAH pdf library.

Here's a good starting point for pdfs:

I was hoping someone had done a complete review of the genus in this respect, and that someone on here had a quick reference for it. I'll hold on in case someone has better news before I jump into lit. searching.

I have been unable to find any genus wide, however, we are working on a large project here at the Uni with the intent of encompassing the genus. (Personally,I feel it is flawed as it stands now.)
I'll dig around a bit, I have a pretty large file of papers on the topic on my hardrive here....somewhere...

Thanks Johnny. Frog eyes sent me some good links and I got the info I needed.
