Hello. I am thinking on getting a pair of axolotls. I am well aware of the cannibalistic stage but i need some help with these few things:

1.- How long does the cannibalistic stage last?
2.- What are the essentials i need to give them proper health care? (Tank manteinance, food, environmental issues).
3.- This one is not as important but id like to start a small non profit breedery, for now ill only get 2 axols in order to get started but if i do get the proper experience i may start woth this project. As for now all id like to know how to differentiate from adult and juvenile axols and male from female.

If anyone could help me with any of these things i would really appreciate it, i really want to know what im doing before i become responsible of the lives of any of these beautiful creatures, i would not wish to harm them by making silly mistakes.

Again, i appreciate any help given and thank you for it in advance.

There seems to be a danger of axies nibbling on their tank mates whenever there is a significant size difference.
