So I've had my 2 Axols for a few days now.
I made a post a bit back about being a bit concerned about the smaller one and got a few comments there.
First of, I tested the water and it's actually good overall. I have been cleaning it "partially" daily so that might've been what kept it in check.
I clean out poo, rests of food and such out every day and try to take out and refresh a bit of the water as well.
The black one is doing fine but is really irritated by light it seems ... she gets quite stressful whenever I turn on the light and tends to move around non-stop as if in a panic if I leave it on too long.
So I now try to make sure there's only light that doesn't shine directly in the tank, so from outside or just the living room light and not the light that's in the tank itself.
Still a bit concerned about the youngest but he seems to be getting better but very slowly. Hopefully he'll get through it all. I think it wasn't a good time to move him out to begin with. Still young and fragile and already with some "wounds". Taking him away from a place it was somewhat used to might've been a bit too much.

PS: I still have no names for them ... I'm bad with names because I want a name to mean something special.

Do you have caves for the little axolotls to settle in? That might help with the light shock the one seems to experience.

I hope the youngest one continues to get better!

One of mine is quite light sensitive, and she's got a nice, big piece of driftwood that double as a cave - keeps the light out nicely!

Another tip is the Zoo Med floating logs - I bought the turtle log for my axie pair, and one of them seems to like it very much. It's nice, dark and big. Hangs out inside it and chills beside it, foot hooked to one of the "windows". Adds another layer/level to the tank!

There's a bridge I really liked in the pet store that I placed in the tank. She's mostly underneath or right behind it during the day and either in front of it or on top of it during the evening.

The black one is doing really fine. She looks really healthy moves around a lot but not too much. She eats well ... even tho she always tries to eat my fingers >.>
Overall she's used to her new place.

The smaller one seems to be ... uhm, dead, kind of... not exactly.
It didn't really eat yesterday and today it looked as if it wanted to eat but then just spat it out again :/
I've now put it in a small plastic container to keep a better eye on it, to see whether or not it'll eat. But it seems like it just gave up. When I moved it from the aquarium to the smaller container it barely moved. It has also been on top a lot lately, just floating there.
It can't seem to move around easily either, it's really struggling to move and always turns sideways ... kind of like how I look when I go through one of my knees.
It also seems as if it's not regenerating at all. I don't see any progress on the tail or missing limb.
I'm gonna be honest ... I'm really worried :(
