Gill regrowth

Hi everyone,

My axie lost most of his gills during a battle with fungus a month ago. Now the tips of his gill filaments are white, but it doesn't look like fungus. Could this be regrowth?

yeah that happened with mine. it was like a see through skin. it turned out fine i wouldnt worry about it unless it got furry
