I noticed the yesterday Sia's gills were looking a little bit strange. They look a bit chewed up and some of his gills and the gill filaments at the end have turned white. It doesn't really look like your normal 'cotton wool' fungus though from what I've seen.

The tank temp climbed up to around 24-25 last week on a few days when it got really hot here, so I think that's probably the most likely cause as other tank parameters are fine.

Is this a fungus and should I treat it with salt/tea bathes? Or could it be something else? My other two axies in the tank appear fine and are eating normally. Sia is in the fridge at the moment for some R&R until I figure out how to proceed.

I've attached really crappy phone pictures so it's kinda hard to see, but I think I've seen photos of axies with a similar condition...

Any help would be appreciated! :D
