Gills

Hey everyone,
I was just looking at the home page of http://axolotl.org and am fascinated by those beautiful curly gills of the albino type. id love to see some pics if anyone has an axie with interesting gills

Yeah- those gills are massive! My axies just have normal gills. To get gills like that, you have to put them conditions where they use their gills much more than they would normally need to, so they grow bigger to help get all the oxygen they can out of the water.
