I currently keep a variety of salamanders including Pseudotriton ruber schenki and various Desmognathus. I am looking for good live foods that can live an extended period in a semi-aquatic environment. When my sals don't gobble up their food quickly, the current foods I am using, worms, crickets, sowbugs are falling/escaping into the water, dying and fouling it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Aquatic isopods (Asellus sp.) and scuds are two excellent choices.
