Grass, ivy or pothos with eco earth?

Will regular grass, ivy, or pothos grow in a moist eco earth substrate? I kinda figure the pothos might, as they would thrive sitting in water.
 
Depending on how moist mondo grass sold as aquatic plants at most LFS do great as a sort of bog plant and are one of those plants that technically dont belong in a fish tank.

The rest would do just fine.

Oh and BTW, regular grass will do great at first but then its gunna start to rot from the moisture and humidity.
