I have an idea for all newt keepers in towns where there is no live food-selling pet stores. if there was a way to get the worms and bugs in your backyards nutritional and sterilized, it would be easier to dig up worms from you garden. i was wondering if one of you guys could e-mail something to one of the many laboratories in europe and north america. i would do it, but you guys have more authority.

a good way to attract worms is to water a spot frequently where you want to dig, or lay down a tarp or newspaper and keep it very moist. This attracts worms, slugs, various other bugs.
