Green Cloudy Water

Since adding Flourish to my tank for the first time almost 3 weeks ago my water has been green and cloudy- now i can barely see the back of it. Water changes do not seem to help alot. Does anyone have any suggestions?

sounds like an algie problem other than that i have no idea

im thinking of trying a UV filter. does anyone have any comments about whether this is a good idea?

Adding fertilizers to the water where algae is present in small numbers will cause an algae explosion. Using a UV filter will probably not help much. A diatom filter may help reduce your algae population. I recommend giving the tank as little light as possible, changing the water often, and not adding more fertilizer.
