Is there any way to help axolotls grow (lengthwise) quickly?
I've had my axolotl for about 1 year now, pretty certain it's a male. He's grown, but not a whole lot. He's fed regularly and is in no way malnourished or thin, he's just not large. He gets live earthworms/night crawlers every other day and blood worms about once a week as a treat, His current size is right around 6 inches. Neither one of his parents is overly large, but they're certainly bigger than him. Honestly I don't care if he's little, but I want to get a second axolotl in the near future and males are generally larger, so I'm concerned about being able to find another male as small as him. If you have any growth tips or advice please let me know! Thanks!
