Hello, I'm fairly new to Axolotls, as I've only had mine for about a month. I have two young ones in a 20 long. I've noticed that one is growing faster than the other but they're eating the same? I was curious if different types grow at different rates. The guy I bought them from said one's leuistic and the other is a wild type.

It is not unusual for axolotls to grow at different rates. Just make sure both of them have as much to eat as they want, since they are growing still. Just don't let leftover food remain in the tank.

Thanks, I was just to be safer than sorry. As for wasts, I clean it out almost every day

Nothing to do with colour, but all axies grow at different rates. You'll need to separate them if the difference is over an inch.

males tend to be a little larger too. you may have one male one female.
