So, stupid question but, I have these guppies that I bought as feeders, most of them got eaten by my turtles and the remaining ones decided to have babies, and they've been in there for a while so they're not super tiny maybe a few months with the turtles. Anyway all the guppies plus the turtle is making way too much waste and the tank is overcrowded anyway, the only options I can think of are putting them with my waltl or having them in an extra tank which is only like 2 gallons, so I was told they would be okay with waltl, but I would have to quarantine for salmonella, and was wondering how long I would have to quarantine, I'm assuming longer than a month.
The parent(only ones left lol) was just a normal feeder guppy in an all guppy tank, and I'm only wondering about the baby guppies.
Thanks for any help

Better not put them with the P.waltl....they really like their waters to be fishless.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
