Hai I'm rei...I found the website before i got my axolotls and it has been very useful, but i just found the forums and hope to be active in the Axolotl area!

Hi, im beggining to wonder is there such a thing as a Xanthanistic axolotl...On another forum an axolotl "expert" led me to believe i had a melanoid and Xanthanistic, but have straight away been told diffrent here? :s Mind you, that person got banned...

I've never heard anyone refer to an axolotl as xanthanistic (referring to a high amount of yellow). Golden albinos don't have excess yellow pigment, but rather lack the dark pigment that usually masks the yellow.
