I've searched through the whole website and haven't really been able to find what plants (terrestrial/semi aquatic) would be harmful to different newts species. I bought some plants from a local pet store and while 3 of them look like ferns the other 2 have green with pink coloring and green with white coloring. The guy who worked there couldn't tell me exactly what they were but said he puts them in with all his amphibians and they are fine. He only has some dart frogs, tree frogs, cynops orientalis, and that's about it.

I on the other hand have more exotic species such as n. kaiseri, c. e. popei, l. laonesis, and I. a. apuanas. So basically I am asking if there is anywhere I can find info on what plants aren't safe for my guys, or anyone who has personal experience.

Thanks in advance.

They could both be Dracena, the red and the white variety. Both are suitable for newts as far as i know.
