Hellbenders

Hi, has anyone here ever kept hellbenders before? If so, where did you get them? And what was your set up like? Is catching one in W. VA or PA the only option of getting them?

Hi,
We had one at work until the Zoo that loaned ot to us took it back. For caging, the bigger the better and the cooler the better. Start with at least a 55 gallon aquarium plumbed with a chiller that can keep the water temp in the low 60's if possible. You also want a good filtration set up to keep the oxygen levels high for these guys.
You want to have everything set-up before you consider trying to get one. A
