I am a teacher at an private school in wastern Washington. This past year we attempted to redo our frog egg lesson and well, we ended up with salamanders! Can anyone help me identify them? I have posted the photos under salamanders.
Thanks,
Heather

It's hard to tell from larvae. Where did you get them from, that might help!

I found the eggs in an overflow pond next to a wetland in the puget sound reigon of Washington state. The year before we go eggs and they hatched to frogs and this year we were expecting the same, well . . . not salamanders are very different than the frogs  I would like to keep the four I have and in order to do that I need to make sure I am caring for them correctly for their species.
