Hey, my name is Kat or DragonsMamma.
I own two Axolotls of the wild type morph, they are about 4-5" long right now, they are named Salt and Pepper. I got mine from a breeder, not a pet store.
I live in Washinton State in the USA. I am very new to the hobby and anyone that has any tips that would be awesome.
Currently, I have my babies in a 10gal tank but I will soon be upgrading them to a 40gal tank that is 30"x12"x19"> I also have live plants in their tank. I feed them mostly chopped up night crawlers and frozen pre-cooked salad ship now and then after they have soaked and been rinsed off.
One thing that I have had trouble finding are good hides for them, I am not a huge fan of the PVC pipe ones so if anyone has found any good ones on Amazon please hook me up.
