Hi everyone, First let me thank everyone before me especially the creator of this site. (Being from Texas, can't imagine why he would pick there to live either,) for making it available to the rest of us. I have always been interested in salamanders and newts, and have kept a few in the past. However, I believe in providing as close to it's natural environment as possible if you are going to keep animals from the wild. I am looking forward to contributing as much as possible to the community, but for now I will probably be gleaming knowledge from the rest of you. Thanks again for the opportunity to be a part of what appears to be an awsome site. Greg.

Welcome Greg. It is nice to see another Ohioan on here. (I am in the dayton area).

I think I remember talking to someone named Greg this past weekend about this site at a store in the Columbus area. Whether youa re the same Greg or not, welcome.
