I'm a newbie, interested in axolotls, and already love amphibians. I knew an axolotl back in the &)'s named Dewey. I teach biology, maintain a large tank, and want to learn how to keep these guys in class. Alongside my giant walking sticks.

My keyboard is German so I'm not sure, but does &) on an American keyboard mean the 60s?
I'm sure you will find all of the information you need among the many axolotl web pages and forum entries. In addition to the axolotl.org site and its pages, I have also found these caudata.org pages repeatedly helpful:

Yes, the 70's. So sorry! I teach high school, and I've noticed that having life in the classroom really has a huge impact on a lot of the kids. Even a tank of guppies fascinates them. Thanks for the links, Eva.
