I am new to Caudata.org. At the Bronx Zoo, we are building our amphibian captive conservation programs. My hope is that through this website, I will be able to converse with other amphibian breeders in the community. There is so much we do not know about breeding certain caudates (e.g., Sirenidae, Amphiumidae), that I will periodically be asking for input from Caudata.org members to fill in the gaps. I might sound frantic or desperate at times, but there will be challenging days ahead...so any insight I can get will be greatly appreciated!
We (really my staff who are awesome) are breeding Echinotriton andersoni and other amphibians (e.g., Kihansi spray toads and Atelopus zeteki, etc.) at the moment but as space (and hopefully funding) becomes available, we will be taking on other projects in the future.
I look forward to chatting with y'all!
Take care,
Jenny Pramuk
